历史与成立History & Founding
新加坡象棋总会成立于1934年，原名”新加坡华人棋会”。1959年更名为”新加坡象棋公会”，1972年改为现名”新加坡象棋总会”。2007年加入新加坡奥林匹克委员会成为附属会员，为非营利艺术团体。2011年转型为慈善机构，2017—2022年成功申请成为IPC公益慈善组织。
本会拥有超过90年的历史，致力于推广象棋活动，提升棋艺水平。
The Singapore Xiangqi General Association was founded in 1934 as the “Singapore Chinese Chess Association.” It was renamed the “Singapore Xiangqi Guild” in 1959, and took its current name in 1972. In 2007 it joined the Singapore National Olympic Council as an affiliate member, a non-profit arts organisation. It became a registered charity in 2011, and successfully applied for IPC (Institution of a Public Character) status between 2017 and 2022.
With more than 90 years of history, the Association is dedicated to promoting Xiangqi and raising the standard of play.

成就Achievements
主办比赛，促成1978年亚洲象棋联合会成立，本会为发起单位之一。Hosted the tournament, which led to the founding of the Asian Xiangqi Federation in 1978; the Association was one of its founding members.
主办1985、1988、2003、2008、2015、2017、2018年赛事。Hosted the tournament in 1985, 1988, 2003, 2008, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
主办比赛，促成1993年世界象棋联合会成立。张心欢获女子组冠军，Winston William获非华裔组冠军。Hosted the inaugural tournament, which led to the founding of the World Xiangqi Federation in 1993. 张心欢 won the women’s title; Winston William won the non-Chinese division title.
主办比赛。Hosted the tournament.
康德荣获快棋银牌，张心欢获女子个人赛铜牌。康德荣 won silver in rapid chess; 张心欢 won bronze in the women’s individual event.
新加坡队获团体季军。The Singapore team placed third overall.
联合主办，庆祝建国50周年。党斐创1对25蒙目棋赛吉尼斯世界纪录（17胜5和3负，耗时12小时40分）。Co-hosted to mark Singapore’s 50th year of independence. 党斐 set a Guinness World Record playing 25 opponents blindfolded simultaneously (17 wins, 5 draws, 3 losses, over 12 hours 40 minutes).
整修会所（51 Bishan St 13），成功筹资完成工程。Renovated the clubhouse at 51 Bishan Street 13, with funds successfully raised for the project.
获1金1银2铜。Won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
东南亚运动会获2金1银3铜；曼谷亚洲锦标赛获团体亚军；杭州亚运会吴兰香获女子个人铜牌；休斯敦世界象棋锦标赛男子团体冠军，女子团体季军，吴宗翰与吴兰香各获个人季军。Won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze at the SEA Games; runner-up (team) at the Asian Championship in Bangkok; 吴兰香 won bronze in the women’s individual event at the Hangzhou Asian Games; at the World Xiangqi Championship in Houston the men’s team won gold and the women’s team placed third, with 吴宗翰 and 吴兰香 each taking individual bronze.
主办比赛，由新加坡中国白酒有限公司赞助。Hosted the tournament, sponsored by Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd.
主办“孙文广杯”、“图隆杯”、庆中秋会员赛、全国青年个人赛、棋王赛（两年一届）、“茶阳杯”学生赛及小学校际赛。派队参加亚洲赛、国际邀请赛、世界杯赛（两年一届）及新马交流赛。举办讲座及培训，推广青少年象棋。Hosts the 孙文广杯, 图隆杯, Mid-Autumn members’ tournament, National Youth Individual Championship, the biennial Chess King tournament, the 茶阳杯 student tournament, and inter-primary-school competitions. Sends teams to Asian championships, international invitationals, the biennial World Cup, and Singapore–Malaysia exchange matches. Runs talks and training programmes to promote Xiangqi among young people.

会徽说明The emblem
红色白底为我国国旗颜色，代表新加坡共和国。Red on white are the colours of our national flag, representing the Republic of Singapore.
外围粗线构成一只象，九宫格代表棋盘，象征象棋活动。The bold outer line forms the shape of an elephant; the nine-square grid represents the board, symbolising the game of Xiangqi.
九宫格如帷幄，筹划军务，代表战略决策司令总部。The nine-square grid is like a command tent, planning military affairs — representing a headquarters for strategic decisions.
红点（象眼）象征共同目标，寓意象棋事业发扬光大。The red dot — the elephant’s eye — symbolises a shared goal: the hope that Xiangqi will flourish and grow.
