11月13-15日举行的第一届亚洲智力运动节象棋公开赛，中国棋手在快棋和超快棋称霸，大获全胜。开幕式由巫汉梃担任司仪。会长林关浩致辞提到象棋的国际地位近年来一直有所提高。闭幕式司议由龚敬文医生担任，林关浩会长讲话认为比赛采用快棋和超快棋形式乃迎合现代的生活节奏，同时，也可以更好的训练腦力。他赞扬巴基斯巴和黎巴嫩派员参加！及感谢各地协会的支持，报名热烈，对象棋的推广有着深远影响。黎巴嫩象棋协会主席Mr Elias也发表讲话，叙述该国象棋发展状况。随后林会长、名誉会长梁佩玲及吴得顺为优胜者颁奖。

Call for Singapore Players: Represent Your Nation at the 1st Asian Mind Sports Festival Xiangqi Open Tournament!

Dear Fellow Xiangqi Enthusiasts and Players,
The Singapore Xiangqi General Association is proud to host the 1st Asian Mind Sports Festival Xiangqi Open Tournament, organized by the Asian Mind Sports Association (AMSA). Scheduled for November 13–15, 2025 at Room 310, Suntec City Convention & Exhibition Centre (1 Raffles Blvd, Singapore 039593), this prestigious event features Rapid Xiangqi (15 minutes + 10 seconds/move) and Blitz Xiangqi (5 minutes + 3 seconds/move). Participants may compete in one or both events, with exciting prizes including up to S$3,000 for Rapid and S$1,000 for Blitz, plus gold, silver, and bronze medals for top finishers and the U18 category (born 2007 or later).
Important Eligibility Note:
This registration is exclusively for Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) representing Singapore through SIXGA. International players must register via their respective national or regional Xiangqi associations.
We invite 大师 (Master), 甲级 (Class A), and 乙级 (Class B) players to apply. With a quota of at least 6 players (potentially more based on participation from other countries), selection will prioritize the latest 等级分 (rating) scores from local competitions since 2013 (e.g., Singapore Nationals Open, Tu Long Cup, Choa Chu Kang Cup, and Chess King Cup). Rated but inactive players will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The Singapore Xiangqi General Association reserves the final authority in the selection of players. Additional applicants may be placed on a waitlist.

Expenses: All travel, accommodation, meals, and local transportation are self-funded.
